Father's Day

Father's Day was wonderful.  Breakfast in bed for the family not just the hubby.  He enjoyed the company.
Had some pool fun followed by dinner with the my Dad, Mom, and brother at McCoole's.  I had never been there.  I can't believe I had never been inside this beautiful historic building.  The woodwork was amazing and the art work really sent you back in time.  When I open a B&B I would want it to look very similiar to this place.  The food was amazing too.  Everyone enjoyed their meals.  It was a good time.

I gave my Dad a chipboard album for Father's Day.  He seemed to really like it.  I made it with mostly older photos of me along with a couple more current photos.  I used the Campfire Collection for October Afternoon.  I distressed the edges of the book, tags, and strips of paper to make it look vintage.
Here are some photos of it.

Surprisingly this project only took me 4 hours to do when I created it.  The first time I made one, it took me days.  I had so much fun making this for my Dad.

HIS Blog Challenge

I chose the quote for this month's HIS Blog challenge and here is my layout for June.
Hope you like it.  These pictures were taken in 2008 when we visited Wildwood, NJ.

The quote is "My Dad didn't tell me how to live, he lived and let me watch him".

Please check out the HIS Blog and post your layout.  There will be a prize for the lucky winner!
